Our Goals

While following the mandate of this worldwide organization, the Stratford Club aims to make a difference locally.

Fundraising has been directly contributed to:

  • Scholarships for Female Students entering Post Secondary studies

    • Janice Bantle Memorial Award - Woman in Trades

    • 14 Roses Bursary - Woman in Sciences

  • Perth District Health Unit Teen Esteem Program

  • Canadian Breast Cancer Assn local chapter

  • Basketeers, women’s shelters.

Our History

The Stratford Club was chartered in 2000 with 21 members. Several founding members remain with the Club and many individuals have given their time over the years to our projects.

Stratford falls under the larger umbrella of Area 1, in District 4. One of our members holds a committee position at the District Level (includes 35 clubs in southern Ontario, northern New York, and Pennsylvania)………………………………………………………….

“Zonta Says No To Violence Against Women”

The Club though its social media aims to bring attention to the Zonta International’s 2018/2019 campaign which focuses on the issue of Ending Child Marriage.
